New comprehensive legal research platform equips professionals with the authoritative source of Singapore’s legal precedents, setting foundations for continued AI rollout

SINGAPORE, September 11, 2025 – Thomson Reuters (TSX/Nasdaq: TRI), a global content and technology company, today announced the launch of Westlaw Singapore, a comprehensive legal research platform that unites all essential legal sources in a single location. The new and improved platform will provide customers with access to the Singapore Law Reports via a new strategic partnership with the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL).

“Against the backdrop of vast technological, regulatory, and economic change, we see a growing demand for legal professionals to deliver clarity for their clients with trust, speed and accuracy at the core,” said Vishal Bali, Managing Director of Asia and Emerging Markets (AEM) at Thomson Reuters.  “Despite this, legal research methods have traditionally relied on disparate databases, hindering professionals' ability to complete legal analysis efficiently.
