Alex Fawcett

Alex is the VP Product CoCounsel Platform at Thomson Reuters. Alex leads the definition and delivery of platform strategy for CoCounsel. This includes user experience across multiple platforms, international expansion as well as integration tools and technologies. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters Alex held a number of product and technical leadership roles at Sage.

Andrew Hay is SAAS expert, leading Thomson Reuter's content-driven technology experts to drive results for our tax clients across Asia and Emerging Markets. With more than 20 years experience in tax, finance and digital transformation, he offers a deep understanding of customer markets, segments and domain expertise. Before joining Thomson Reuters in 2010, Andrew worked with PwC where he led initiatives in financial reporting software transformation and outsourcing.
Hongrui Mo
Chief Financial Officer, MET Group Asia
Hongrui is the Chief Financial Officer of MET Asia. He leads and is responsible for M&A, group restructuring, finance and compliance matters. Previously, he was the core founding member of TotalEnergies Renewables – APAC where he led the full spectrum of finance functions. Hongrui is a committee member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (“ISCA”) Young Professional Advisory Committee. In 2024, he was appointed to the Implementation Committee for Accountancy Workforce Development jointly by Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and ISCA. Hongrui specialises in International Financial Report Standards and is an accounting trainer on renewable energy at ISCA. He is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore, a Certified Internal Auditor and FRM – Certified Professional.
Andy Hwang
General Partner, Wavemaker Partners
Andy is a General Partner at Wavemaker Partners. He leads the firm’s early-stage fund, Wavemaker Ventures, working closely with the investment team and founders from fundraising to scaling. He also oversees Wavemaker’s corporate innovation initiatives—partnering with leading enterprises to access disruptive startups and grow their presence in Southeast Asia through strategic partnerships, investments, and M&A. Beyond his role at Wavemaker, Andy is an angel investor, startup coach, and was a former global and regional leader at Facebook, Google, and Stripe. During his 10 years at Facebook, Andy helped the company launch in Asia and served as Managing Director for the SMB and mid-market advertising business, growing it to over 2 million customers and US$6 billion in annual revenue.

Johnson is a seasoned executive and data and AI practitioner with over 16 years of leadership experience across the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Assistant Chief Executive at IMDA, where he helps shape Singapore's digital future and advance the digital economy. His career spans senior roles in regional banking and global consulting, including Group Chief Data Officer and Group Head of Enterprise AI and Analytics Technology, as well as earlier public sector work as Principal Scientist and Head of Data Science in the defence domain. He also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty at SMU and a Principal Fellow at SUTD. Johnson holds degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from UC Berkeley and a postgraduate degree in Statistics from Yale University.
Axel Threlfall

Axel Threlfall is Editor-at-Large, Reuters, based in London. Alongside his editorial duties, he hosts high-profile engagements and thought leadership events for and on behalf of Reuters and Thomson Reuters, including the flagship Reuters NEXT summits and the Newsmaker series. He was previously Lead European Anchor for Reuters Digital Video. Prior to joining Reuters, Axel spent five years as an anchor for CNBC in London. Before that, he was an editor with The Wall Street Journal in New York and a news reporter for Bloomberg in London. He has also advised businesses and NGOs on their dealings with the international media. He has a BA in History from Durham University and a postgraduate degree in journalism from City University, London.

Professor Jungpil Hahn

Jungpil Hahn is a Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics and a Provost's Chair Professor at the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He served as Head of the Department of Information Systems and Analytics from July 2015 to June 2021. He is also the Director at NUS Fintech Lab, Deputy Director (AI Governance) for AI Singapore and Deputy Director at Centre for Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence & the Law.
Lam Chee Kin

Chee Kin is accountable for the team which manages DBS’ legal and regulatory risk across legal entities, segments and geographies. Prior to joining, he held various legal and compliance portfolios in Standard Chartered Bank, JPMorgan, Rajah & Tann and Allen & Gledhill, including a stint as Chief Operating Officer, South East Asia for JPMorgan. In 2025, Chee Kin was recognised by the Financial Times as one of the 20 most innovative General Counsel, globally, of the past 20 years. Chee Kin currently serves on the Advisory Board to SMU School of Law and the Advisory Panel to the NUS Centre for Banking and Finance Law.
Patrick Tay

Mr Patrick Tay is the Assistant Secretary-General of NTUC and Member of Parliament of Pioneer Single Member Constituency. He co-chairs the Financial Sector Tripartite Committee. As Director of NTUC’s Legal Services and Strategy Departments, he represents the Labour Movement in tripartite workgroups to review/update employment and industrial relations legislation and has been pivotal in lobbying for the many changes to manpower related laws and policies in Singapore. He also co-chaired the NTUC-Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) Professional Managerial Employees (PME) Taskforce and is the Executive Secretary for the United Workers of Electronics & Electrical Industries. As legal adviser to NTUC-affiliated unions in Singapore, he has advised/represented numerous unions/members in complex and contentious issues, dispute resolution, conciliation and in the Industrial Arbitration Court.
Li Fangyi

Fangyi Li is General Counsel at Pacific International Lines (PIL), Singapore’s homegrown container shipping line, where she leads a team of lawyers and professionals handling the group’s legal, compliance, insurance, and corporate entity management matters across more than 40 countries. Her work spans maritime and trade law, corporate governance, data protection, competition compliance, and sanctions. Before PIL, she practised at Allen & Gledhill LLP and worked in the oil and gas and urban infrastructure design sectors. She is Vice-Chair of the World Shipping Council’s Industry Structure Council, sits on the Singapore War Risk Mutual Committee, and is a member of the NorthStandard Members Board.

Professor Tan Cheng Han is the President of the Law Society of Singapore and also a Senior Consultant at Wong Partnership. He is a leading counsel in the area of dispute resolution and international arbitration and brings with him extensive experience as counsel and arbitrator. He is currently the Chief Strategy Officer and Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also a member of the Monetary of Authority (MAS) Regulatory Workstream, where he contributes towards discussions on enhancements to the regulatory regime for the Singapore capital market.

Janine Cane leads Thomson Reuters’ in-house legal function across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Russia. She originally hails from South Africa where she worked in private practice, before emigrating to the UK in 1997. She held positions in both private practice (principally in Clifford Chance’s IP practice) and in-house, including a stint with a boutique football (aka soccer) agency, managing marquee South African talent. She has been with Thomson Reuters since 2006.
